Daily Maintenance

• Equipment Cleaning: After the workday ends each day, the surfaces of all components of the core shooter should be promptly cleaned of sand particles, dust, debris, etc., to prevent them from entering the interior of the equipment and affecting its normal operation. Special attention should be paid to cleaning the sand shooting head, the surface of the mold, and the workbench surface and other parts.
• Component Inspection: Check whether there are signs of looseness, wear, or damage in all components of the equipment. For example, check whether connectors such as screws and nuts are tightened. If looseness is found, tighten them in a timely manner. For worn or damaged components such as the sand shooting barrel, blades, and sealing rings, replace them promptly to ensure the performance of the equipment.
• Lubrication Maintenance: Regularly lubricate each lubrication point according to the requirements of the equipment instruction manual. Generally speaking, the moving parts of the core shooter, such as guide rails, lead screws, and bearings, need to be added with lubricating oil or grease at least once a week to reduce friction, decrease wear, and ensure the movement accuracy and stability of the equipment.
  

Regular Maintenance

• Pneumatic Circuit System Cleaning: Regularly clean components such as filters and pressure reducing valves in the pneumatic circuit system every month to prevent the pneumatic circuit from being blocked or gas leakage. At the same time, check whether the air pipes have signs of aging or damage, and replace them in a timely manner if necessary.
• Electrical Circuit System Inspection: Regularly inspect the electrical circuit system, including whether electrical components and wire connectors have problems such as overheating, short circuits, and aging. If any abnormalities are found, repair or replace the relevant components in a timely manner to ensure the electrical safety of the equipment.
• Equipment Parameter Calibration: According to the usage situation of the equipment and production requirements, regularly calibrate the parameters of the core shooter, such as sand shooting pressure, sand shooting time, blowing time, etc. Ensure that the equipment can stably produce core sand that meets the quality requirements.

Special Maintenance

• Mold Maintenance: The mold is a key component of the core shooter. After each use, the residual sand and debris on the surface of the mold should be promptly cleaned, and an appropriate amount of rust inhibitor should be applied. Regularly check the wear condition of the mold, and promptly repair or replace the severely worn parts to ensure the forming quality of the core sand.
• Seasonal Maintenance: During the transition between seasons, especially during the transition from winter to summer or from summer to winter, corresponding maintenance should be carried out on the equipment according to the changes in ambient temperature. For example, in winter, pay attention to the cold protection and warmth preservation of the equipment to prevent hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, etc. from solidifying due to low temperatures. In summer, pay attention to the heat dissipation of the equipment to prevent the equipment from malfunctioning due to high temperatures
